Your River City Raiders are proud to announce the 2017 coaching staff. Greg Moore “Chief” will take over the head coach duties this season for the Raiders. His coaching staff will include, Justin Kuntz, Demoine Smith, Jeff Hunt, and Dan Montgomery. “Coach Moore is very well respected not just in the football world, he is well respected nationwide for his public and national service. Coach has an extensive resume not just in football but his duty to our great country” said Jason Pilarski, Vice President of Operations.
Some of Coach Moore’s greatest accomplishments have been serving not only our community but our country. Coach served 8 years in the United States Army, 10 years as a St. Louis City Police Officer/Detective, and 8 years working nationwide for the FBI. During his time in service, he started looking at ways to get into football. Due to his limited time, he had away from his career he began to coach in Chicago, IL. Coach Moore has now been coaching from high school, semi-pro, minor league development, arena football for over 30 years. “Arena football is an exciting, fan connected, exciting, fast paced game. Arena football was designed to score touchdowns, and me being a defensive guy, I got to devise a way to stop the other team from scoring touchdowns” said Coach Moore.
